And my favorite place to eat is White Flamingo. The food is fresh and healthy (nothing fried), the service is great, and it's quiet. The Ginger Mandarin salad is excellent.
Our favorite Chinese is Red Phoenix on 242 across from Lone Star college, or whatever it's called now. Always fresh and delicious. They were a spin off of my favorite Chinese place in Conroe, Hunan Village. Same menu, just as good.

The best BBQ in the area is Corkscrew BBQ. On Budde road behind the shopping center, next to Dr. Detail. It is just a trailer and a few outside tables, but easily better than anything around here. Opens at 11.30 and will sell out normally everyday by 1.30.

Yes to Corkscrew BBQ. Delicious! Today is the first day in their brand new trailer. They open at 11:00. If you like them on Facebook, they post when they are sold out.
